With the triumph, Marion County improves its record to 5-3 on the year. The Eagles host Shaw (Columbus, GA) to encounter the Raiders in a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 23. The Raiders enter the outing with a record of 2-5. Shaw lost 18-6 in their recent non-league outing against Brookstone (Columbus, GA)

The Red Devils (2-4) will now prepare for their outing against Wilcox County (Rochelle, GA). The Patriots enter the 1A D-II Region 4 outing with a 8-0 record. In their last outing, Wilcox County tipped Brookstone (Columbus, GA), 13-1, in a non-league outing.
