Wesleyan Wolves (Norcross, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Pickens Dragons (Jasper, GA), 8-0 in a league challenge.

The Wolves now own a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gilmer for a 3A Region 7 challenge on Thursday, August 25. Wesleyan will face a Bobcats squad coming off a 5-1 league loss to White County (Cleveland, GA). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, Pickens falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Dragons host Union County (Blairsville, GA) to face the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 23. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 5-1. Union County lost 8-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Bremen (Bremen, GA)
