Brookhaven Academy Cougars (Brookhaven, MS) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Adams County Christian Rebels (Natchez, MS), 6-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Cougars confront the Park Place Christian Academy Crusaders (Pearl, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 24. Brookhaven Academy will attempt to move on its 8-1 season record. The Crusaders enter the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to St. Augustine (Ridgeland, MS).
The Rebels now possess a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Brookhaven Academy for a MAIS Division II South challenge on Tuesday, August 29. Adams County Christian will confront a Cougars team coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Park Place Christian Academy (Pearl, MS). The Cougars record now stands at 9-1.
