Next, the Beavers face the Pocahontas County Warriors (Dunmore, WV) in a Coalfield A contest, on Saturday, August 26. Bluefield will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Warriors enter the contest with a 1-2 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Elkins (Elkins, WV).
The Tigers now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodrow Wilson for a Coalfield AAA contest on Tuesday, August 29.
