The Cave Spring Knights topped the visiting William Byrd Terriers volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Knights now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glenvar for a non-league test on Thursday, August 24. Cave Spring will confront a Highlanders team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Giles (Pearisburg, VA). The Highlanders record now stands at 0-1.
The Terriers (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA). The Warriors enter the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Magna Vista gained a win over Staunton River (Moneta, VA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
