The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Cherokee Braves (Cherokee, NC) and the visiting Pisgah Bears (Canton, NC), saw Cherokee's volleyball squad beat Pisgah by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Cherokee upgrades its record to 1-2 on the year. The Braves travel to Hiwassee Dam (Murphy, NC) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Monday, August 28. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
The Bears now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Smoky Mountain for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 24. Pisgah will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Enka (Enka, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-3.
