Florida High School Volleyball - Lake Region can't hold off Lake Gibson

In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Lake Gibson Braves volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Lake Region Thunder.

The Braves now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bartow for a test on Thursday, August 24. Lake Gibson will confront a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Santa Fe Catholic (Lakeland, FL). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 1-0.

The Thunder (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Frostproof (Frostproof, FL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
