Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Chattooga Indians (Summerville, GA) and the visiting Armuchee Indians (Rome, GA), witnessed Chattooga's softball squad tip Armuchee by a count of 4-3.

The Indians now sport a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Trion for a 1A D-I Region 7 match on Thursday, August 24. Chattooga will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 9-7 non-league loss to Ridgeland (Rossville, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Armuchee moves to 3-5 on the season. The Indians host Rome (Rome, GA) to face the Wolves in a non-league match on Wednesday, August 23. The Wolves go into the match with a record of 1-6. Rome lost 19-8 in their recent non-league match against Douglas County (Douglasville, GA)
