In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Claremore Zebras (Claremore, OK) softball team held off the host Coweta Tigers (Coweta, OK), by a margin of 7-6.
With the triumph, Claremore moves its record to 8-7 on the year. The Zebras host Grove (Grove, OK) to play the Ridgerunners in a non-league contest on Thursday, August 24. The Ridgerunners come into the contest with a record of 5-2. Grove won 8-6 in their recent non-league contest against Sapulpa (Sapulpa, OK)
In their next game, the Tigers play the Ripley Warriors (Ripley, OK) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 26. Coweta will attempt to move on its 5-10 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 14-4 record after their 7-6 non-league loss to Perry (Perry, OK).
