Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Grayson Rams (Loganville, GA) and the host Newton Rams (Covington, GA), witnessed Grayson's softball squad tip Newton by a count of 11-9.

The Rams now sport a 6-2 record. They play next when they host Loganville for a non-league match on Wednesday, August 23. Grayson will face a Red Devils squad coming off a 9-8 league loss to Jefferson (Jefferson, GA). The Red Devils record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Newton moves to 1-4 on the season. The Rams travel to Parkview (Lilburn, GA) to face the Panthers in a 7A Region 4 match on Thursday, August 24. The Panthers go into the match with a record of 3-4. Parkview lost 7-1 in their recent league match against Archer (Lawrenceville, GA)
