The Comets now own a 11-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Verdigris for a 3A challenge on Thursday, August 24. Kansas will battle a Cardinals squad coming off a 7-6 non-league win over Wagoner (Wagoner, OK). The Cardinals record now stands at 9-1.

With the loss, Westville falls to 8-7 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Sallisaw (Sallisaw, OK) to battle the Black Diamonds in a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 24. The Black Diamonds enter the challenge with a record of 1-9.
