Georgia High School Softball - Mitchell County topped by Pataula Charter Academy

In Tuesday's league contest, the Pataula Charter Academy Panthers (Edison, GA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Mitchell County Eagles (Camilla, GA), by a margin of 20-5.

With the triumph, Pataula Charter Academy moves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Panthers travel to Southwest Georgia STEM Charter (Shellman, GA) to play the Aggies in a 1A D-II Region 1 contest on Thursday, August 24. The Aggies come into the contest with a record of 0-2. Southwest Georgia STEM Charter lost 15-0 in their recent league contest against Seminole County (Donalsonville, GA)

In their next game, the Eagles play the Calhoun County Cougars (Edison, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 1 contest, on Tuesday, August 29. Mitchell County will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record.
