The Cardinals now own a 9-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Haskell for a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 24. Verdigris will battle a Haymakers squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Salina (Salina, OK). The Haymakers record now stands at 11-5.

With the loss, Wagoner falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Jones (Jones, OK) to battle the Longhorns in a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 26. The Longhorns enter the challenge with a record of 6-11. Jones lost 9-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Heritage Hall (Oklahoma City, OK)
