The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Boyd County Lions (Ashland, KY) and the host East Carter Raiders (Grayson, KY), saw Boyd County's volleyball squad beat East Carter by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Boyd County upgrades its record to 7-1 on the year. The Lions travel to Fairview (Ashland, KY) to play the Eagles in a District 64 bout on Thursday, August 24. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Fairview lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Chesapeake (Chesapeake, OH)

The Raiders now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Elliott County for a District 62 bout on Thursday, August 24.
