The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Perry County Central Commodores (Hazard, KY) and the visiting Buckhorn Wildcats (Buckhorn, KY), saw Perry County Central's volleyball squad beat Buckhorn by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Perry County Central upgrades its record to 8-2 on the year. The Commodores travel to Whitley County (Williamsburg, KY) to play the Colonels in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 26. The Colonels go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Whitley County won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Williamsburg (Williamsburg, KY)

The Wildcats now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Leslie County for a District 54 bout on Wednesday, August 23. Buckhorn will play a Eagles squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Breathitt County (Jackson, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 3-4.
