The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Eagle River Wolves (Eagle River, AK) and the host West Anchorage Eagles (Anchorage, AK), saw Eagle River's volleyball squad nip West Anchorage by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Eagle River upgrades its record to 1-5 on the year. The Wolves travel to Dimond (Anchorage, AK) to play the Lynx in a 4A Cook Inlet bout on Thursday, August 24. The Lynx go into the bout with a record of 13-2. Dimond won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Chugiak (Chugiak, AK)

The Eagles now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Chugiak for a 4A Cook Inlet bout on Friday, August 25. West Anchorage will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Dimond (Anchorage, AK). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-4.
