North Carolina High School Volleyball - Owen edged by Enka

The Enka Jets held off the visiting Owen Warhorses volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Jets now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Smoky Mountain for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 23. Enka will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Swain County (Bryson City, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-1.

The Warhorses (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Erwin (Asheville, NC). The Warriors enter the non-league test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Erwin was nudged by Tuscola (Waynesville, NC), 3-1, in a non-league test.
