The Pickens Dragons volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Gilmer Bobcats to 1 in the Dragons league victory on Tuesday.

The Dragons now possess a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chattooga for a non-league game on Thursday, August 24. Pickens will meet a Indians team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to LaFayette (LaFayette, GA). The Indians record now stands at 10-3.

The Bobcats (0-4) will now prepare for their game against Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA). The Indians enter the 3A Area 7 game with a 4-3 record. In their last game, Lumpkin County nipped Banks County (Homer, GA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
