In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Hibriten Panthers (Lenoir, NC) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting Wilkes Central Eagles (Wilkesboro, NC), by a count of 3-0.

The Panthers (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against West Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Warriors enter the non-league challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, West Iredell defeated Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the North Surry Greyhounds (Mount Airy, NC) in a Foothills 2A challenge, on Tuesday, August 29. Wilkes Central will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record.
