The Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC) volleyball overcame the visiting Riverside-Martin Knights (Williamston, NC), 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

With the win, Holmes betters its record to 4-0 on the year. The Aces host Albemarle School (Elizabeth City, NC) to face the Colts in a non-league outing on Thursday, August 24. The Colts go into the outing with a record of 5-1. Albemarle School won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Mattamuskeet (Swan Quarter, NC)

The Knights now sport a 0-5 record. They play next when they host Pamlico County for a non-league outing on Thursday, August 24. Riverside-Martin will face a Hurricanes squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Havelock (Havelock, NC). The Hurricanes record now stands at 5-0.
