The Bearcats (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Ashdown (Ashdown, AR). The Panthers enter the 4A West challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Ashdown was dropped by Magnolia (Magnolia, AR), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Booneville Bearcats (Booneville, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 24. Waldron will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Bearcats enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Clarksville (Clarksville, AR).
