North Carolina High School Volleyball - North Edgecombe can't hold off Weldon

In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Weldon Chargers volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the North Edgecombe Warriors.
The Chargers (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Southeast Halifax (Halifax, NC). The Trojans come into the Tar Roanoke 1A battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Southeast Halifax was edged by KIPP Pride (Gaston, NC), 3-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Warriors clash with the Wilson Prep Tigers (Wilson, NC) in a Tar Roanoke 1A battle, on Thursday, August 24. North Edgecombe will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Tigers come into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Northampton County (Gaston, NC).
