Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team overwhelm the visiting Battle Mountain Longhorns (Battle Mountain, NV), 14-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Churchill County moves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Greenwave travel to Eldorado (Las Vegas, NV) to clash with the Firehawks in a non-league test on Friday, August 23. The Firehawks come into the test with a record of 1-3. Eldorado lost 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Sierra Vista (Las Vegas, NV)

The Longhorns now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Fernley for a 3A Northern - East test on Tuesday, August 27. Battle Mountain will clash with a Vaqueros team coming off a 2-0 league loss to West Wendover (West Wendover, NV). The Vaqueros record now stands at 1-4.
