With the triumph, Hurricane moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Redskins host St. Albans (St. Albans, WV) to clash with the Red Dragons in a Mountain State test on Tuesday, August 27. The Red Dragons come into the test with a record of 0-1. St. Albans lost 6-1 in their recent non-league test against St. Joseph Central (Huntington, WV)

The Flying Eagles now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Morgantown for a non-league test on Saturday, August 24. Woodrow Wilson will clash with a Mohigans team coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV). The Mohigans record now stands at 1-0.
