The South Point Pointers soccer squad scored 11 points and held the visiting Rock Hill Redmen to 1 in the Pointers league victory on Thursday.

The Pointers now hold a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Gallia Academy for a Ohio Valley bout on Tuesday, August 27. South Point will play a Blue Devils squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Warren (Vincent, OH). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Rock Hill moves to 0-2 on the year. The Redmen host Fairland (Proctorville, OH) to play the Dragons in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 29. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 0-2.
