North Carolina High School Soccer - Seventy-First nudges Union

In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Seventy-First Falcons soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Union Spartans.

The Falcons (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against South View (Hope Mills, NC). The Tigers enter the United Eight 3A/4A outing with a 1-4 record.

Next up, the Spartans confront the East Bladen Eagles (Elizabethtown, NC) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, August 29. Union will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Eagles enter the outing with a 1-2 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to East Duplin (Beulaville, NC).
