The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Allatoona Buccaneers (Acworth, GA) and the visiting Woodland Wildcats (Cartersville, GA), observed Allatoona's softball team prevail over Woodland by a tally of 12-0.

The Buccaneers (7-1) will now prepare for their bout against Sprayberry (Marietta, GA). The Yellow Jackets go into the non-league bout with a 6-5 record. In their last bout, Sprayberry knocked off Chattahoochee (Alpharetta, GA), 8-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Cass Colonels (White, GA) in a 4A Region 7 bout, on Tuesday, August 27. Woodland will attempt to advance on its 3-5 season record. The Colonels go into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 8-0 league win over Dalton (Dalton, GA).
