The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Bethany Bronchos (Bethany, OK) and the visiting Chandler Lions (Chandler, OK), observed Bethany's softball team get by Chandler by a tally of 3-1.

The Bronchos (5-6) will now prepare for their bout against Mustang (Mustang, OK). The Broncos go into the non-league bout with a 2-4 record. In their last bout, Mustang tipped Bixby (Bixby, OK), 7-4, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Lions clash with the Wynnewood Savages (Wynnewood, OK) in a non-league bout, on Friday, August 23. Chandler will attempt to advance on its 11-1 season record. The Savages go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Oktaha (Oktaha, OK).
