In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Bradwell Institute Tigers softball team scored a nice 21-9 win over the First Preparatory Christian Academy Highlanders.

The Tigers (2-4) will now prepare for their match against South Effingham (Guyton, GA). The Mustangs come into the 5A Region 1 match with a 4-2 record. In their last match, South Effingham notched a victory over Ware County (Waycross, GA), 19-7, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Highlanders battle the Wheeler County Bulldogs (Alamo, GA) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, August 28. First Preparatory Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 6-3 record after their 12-4 non-league win over Trinity Christian (Dublin, GA).
