The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Buford Wolves (Buford, GA) and the host Mill Creek Hawks (Hoschton, GA), witnessed Buford's softball team defeat Mill Creek by a margin of 8-0.

The Wolves now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Morgan County for a non-league battle on Friday, August 23. Buford will encounter a Bulldogs team coming off a 15-0 league win over Westside (Macon, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Mill Creek moves to 7-2 on the season. The Hawks travel to Dacula (Dacula, GA) to encounter the Falcons in a 6A Region 8 battle on Tuesday, August 27. The Falcons come into the battle with a record of 7-2. Dacula won 12-3 in their recent non-league battle against Parkview (Lilburn, GA)
