Veterans Warhawks (Kathleen, GA) supporters left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Coffee Trojans (Douglas, GA), 7-1 in a league game.

With the triumph, Veterans improves its record to 8-1 on the year. The Warhawks travel to Peach County (Fort Valley, GA) to play the Trojans in a non-league game on Monday, August 26. The Trojans enter the game with a record of 7-0.

The Trojans now hold a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Effingham County for a non-league game on Saturday, August 24. Coffee will play a Rebels squad coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Appling County (Baxley, GA). The Rebels record now stands at 2-2.
