The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Crawford County Eagles (Roberta, GA) and the host Upson-Lee Knights (Thomaston, GA), observed Crawford County's softball team prevail over Upson-Lee by a tally of 12-4.

The Eagles (5-5) will now prepare for their bout against Taylor County (Butler, GA). The Vikings go into the 1A D-II Region 6 bout with a 6-5 record. In their last bout, Taylor County was routed by Spalding (Griffin, GA), 6-5, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Knights clash with the Howard Huskies (Macon, GA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, August 26. Upson-Lee will attempt to advance on its 1-11 season record. The Huskies go into the bout with a 2-8 record after their 15-0 league loss to West Laurens (Dexter, GA).
