The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Dade County Wolverines (Trenton, GA) and the host Fannin County Rebels (Blue Ridge, GA), observed Dade County's softball team get by Fannin County by a tally of 3-1.

The Wolverines (8-4) will now prepare for their bout against Chattooga (Summerville, GA). The Indians go into the 1A D-I Region 7 bout with a 4-4 record. In their last bout, Chattooga by North Murray (Chatsworth, GA), 5-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Rebels clash with the Christian Heritage Lions (Dalton, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 7 bout, on Tuesday, August 27. Fannin County will attempt to advance on its 6-1 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 10-4 league loss to Armuchee (Rome, GA).
