Next, the Raiders play the Cedar Grove Saints (Ellenwood, GA) in a 3A Region 5 challenge, on Tuesday, August 27. Riverdale will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Saints enter the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 22-0 non-league loss to Lithonia (Lithonia, GA).

The Astros (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Luella (Luella, GA). The Lions enter the 3A Region 5 challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Luella overcame North Clayton (College Park, GA), 21-0, in a league challenge.
