Houston County Bears (Warner Robins, GA) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Lee County Trojans (Leesburg, GA), 17-14 in a league game.

With the triumph, Houston County upgrades its record to 7-2 on the year. The Bears travel to Colquitt County (Norman Park, GA) to play the Packers in a non-league game on Friday, August 23. The Packers enter the game with a record of 4-3. Colquitt County won 8-3 in their recent non-league game against Bainbridge (Bainbridge, GA)

The Trojans now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Northside for a 5A Region 2 game on Tuesday, August 27.
