The Weatherford Eagles triumphed over the host Lookeba-Sickles Panthers softball squad by a count of 12-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles play the Kingfisher Yellowjackets (Kingfisher, OK) in a 4A District 2 challenge, on Tuesday, September 10. Weatherford will attempt to upgrade on its 8-1 season record.
The Panthers (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Carnegie (Carnegie, OK). The Wildcats enter the non-league challenge with a 8-2 record. In their last challenge, Carnegie overcame Blair (Blair, OK), 11-0, in a non-league challenge.
