Next, the Mustangs meet the Oilton Panthers (Oilton, OK) in a Class A challenge, on Friday, August 23. Pioneer-Pleasant Vale will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Panthers go into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 11-1 league loss to Depew (Depew, OK).

The Panthers (0-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Coyle (Coyle, OK). The Bluejackets go into the Class B challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Coyle was routed by Carney (Carney, OK), 27-13, in a league challenge.
