The Randolph-Clay Red Devils softball team scored 28 runs and held the visiting Quitman County Hornets to 27 in the Red Devils league win on Thursday.

The Red Devils now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Quitman County for a 1A D-II Region 1 battle on Thursday, August 22. Randolph-Clay will confront a Hornets team coming off a 15-2 league loss to Southwest Georgia STEM Charter (Shellman, GA). The Hornets record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Quitman County moves to 0-4 on the season. The Hornets travel to Randolph-Clay (Cuthbert, GA) to confront the Red Devils in a 1A D-II Region 1 battle on Thursday, August 22. The Red Devils come into the battle with a record of 1-3. Randolph-Clay lost 15-12 in their recent non-league battle against Webster County (Preston, GA)
