Florida High School Volleyball - Lake Weir tips Belleview

August 22, 2024: Ocala, FL 34472

The Lake Weir Hurricanes volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Belleview Rattlers to 2 in the Hurricanes non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Hurricanes now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to West Port for a non-league outing on Monday, August 26. Lake Weir will play a Wolf Pack team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to East Ridge (Clermont, FL). The Wolf Pack record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Belleview drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Rattlers host Lecanto (Lecanto, FL) to play the Panthers in a 5A District 5 outing on Monday, August 26. The Panthers come into the outing with a record of 2-0. Lecanto won 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against Springstead (Spring Hill, FL)
