Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Crystal Springs Tigers (Crystal Springs, MS) and the host Magee Trojans (Magee, MS), observed Crystal Springs's volleyball team top Magee by a count of 3-0.

The Tigers (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Raleigh (Raleigh, MS). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Raleigh notched a victory over Amite County (Liberty, MS), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Trojans meet the Seminary Bulldogs (Seminary, MS) in a Class 3A Region 6 contest, on Monday, August 26. Magee will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 1-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to West Jones (Laurel, MS).
