Texas High School Volleyball - Donna Mercedes

The Mercedes Tigers topped the host Donna Redskins volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Tigers encounter the Edinburg North Cougars (Edinburg, TX) in a non-league test, on Saturday, August 24. Mercedes will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Cougars go into the test with a 4-4 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Rivera (Brownsville, TX).

The Redskins now own a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to La Joya for a non-league test on Saturday, August 24. Donna will encounter a Coyotes squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Valley View (Pharr, TX). The Coyotes record now stands at 5-6.
