Match Summary

In the Varsity match, our girls picked up their pace somewhat, but struggled to receive the serve and still made too many mistakes passing and hitting. The quality of our serving game declined significantly over the JV match. Despite receiving a multitude of free balls from the other side of the net during rallies, we were unable to make our hits as effective as we needed them to be to score on the Lady Cougars and keep them on their heels. Instead, they picked up most of our attacks and attacked our middle effectively through most of the match. In the end, we left Atmore with two disappointing losses against a team that we know we should have been able to compete with.
