In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Garrison Bulldogs volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Grace Community Cougars.

The Bulldogs (10-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Shelbyville (Shelbyville, TX). The Dragons come into the non-league challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Shelbyville edged Overton (Overton, TX), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the Chapel Hill Bulldogs (Tyler, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 27. Grace Community will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Thrall (Thrall, TX).
