In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Lakeview Academy Lions volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Monsignor Donovan Catholic Rams.
The Lions (6-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Tallulah Falls (Tallulah Falls, GA). The Indians enter the GIAA 4AAA challenge with a 7-7 record. In their last challenge, Tallulah Falls was beaten by Glenwood (Phenix City, AL), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Rams meet the George Walton Academy Bulldogs (Monroe, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 22. Monsignor Donovan Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 1-13 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Mary Persons (Forsyth, GA).
