Ohio High School Volleyball - Newark Catholic over Lakewood

In Thursday's league challenge, the host Newark Catholic Green Wave volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Lakewood Lancers.

The Green Wave (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Northridge (Johnstown, OH). The Vikings enter the Licking County challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Northridge was beaten by John Glenn (New Concord, OH), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lancers meet the Heath Bulldogs (Heath, OH) in a Licking County challenge, on Tuesday, August 27. Lakewood will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Bloom-Carroll (Carroll, OH).
