Mississippi High School Volleyball - Northeast Lauderdale tips Neshoba Central

August 22, 2024: Philadelphia, MS 39350

Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Northeast Lauderdale Trojans (Meridian, MS) and the host Neshoba Central Rockets (Philadelphia, MS), observed Northeast Lauderdale's volleyball team hold off Neshoba Central by a count of 3-2.

The Trojans (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against West Lauderdale (Collinsville, MS). The Knights enter the Class 4A Region 4 contest with a 10-6 record.

Next, the Rockets battle the Newton County Cougars (Decatur, MS) in a non-league contest, on Monday, August 26. Neshoba Central will attempt to move on its 10-2 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 14-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over St. Andrew's Episcopal (Ridgeland, MS).
