The North Edgecombe Warriors volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Wilson Prep Tigers to 1 in the Warriors league triumph on Thursday.

The Warriors now have a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Warren County for a Tar Roanoke 1A outing on Tuesday, August 27. North Edgecombe will play a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league win over KIPP Pride (Gaston, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Wilson Prep drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Rocky Mount Prep (Rocky Mount, NC) to play the Jaguars in a Tar Roanoke 1A outing on Tuesday, August 27. The Jaguars come into the outing with a record of 0-2. Rocky Mount Prep lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Northampton County (Gaston, NC)
