The Jefferson Davis Academy Raiders (Blackville, SC) football triumphed over the visiting Cross Stingrays (Bluffton, SC), 52-6 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Raiders battle the Palmetto Christian Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 5. Jefferson Davis Academy will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record.

The Stingrays now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Cathedral Academy for a SCISA 8-Man Region II (8 Man) bout on Friday, September 5.
