In Friday's non-league match, the host Fremont Eagles football squad scored a decisive 42-6 triumph over the Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian Braves.

The Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Blackford (Hartford City, IN). The Bruins come into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Blackford was ripped by Jay County (Portland, IN), 56-6, in a non-league challenge.

The Braves (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Southern Wells (Poneto, IN). The Raiders go into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Southern Wells was ripped by Elwood (Elwood, IN), 14-8, in a non-league challenge.
