The Redington Huskies trounced the visiting Kenai Central Kardinals football squad by a margin of 50-14 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Huskies now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Homer for a Mid Alaska game on Friday, September 5.

The Kardinals (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Homer (Homer, AK). The Mariners enter the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Homer overwhelmed Barrow (Utqiagvik, AK), 34-0, in a non-league outing.
